Railway Supply magazine informs about the production of rolling stock in May-2021 (Rosstat data) with reference to the magazine “Technics of Railways”:

Rolling stock production in Russia

  • freight cars – 5.7 thousand units (38.8% against May 2020), in January-May – 25.7 thousand units (8.3% against January-May 2020)
  • mainline electric locomotives – 19 units (-29.6%), in January-May – 93 units (-25.6%)
  • mainline diesel locomotives – 19 sections (90%), in January-May – 88 sections (-3.3%)
