Rail manufacturer Türasaş to produce 100 Uais platforms for military and civilian use
13.11.2024
Rail manufacturer Türasaş introduced new Uais cargo platforms and aims to produce 100 units by 2025. The platforms will undergo dynamic testing to ensure reliability before large-scale production. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

These platforms are capable of transporting 40- and 45-foot containers, reaching a speed of 100 km/h with an 86-ton capacity. Most components, except for the braking system, are manufactured in Turkey, increasing production localization. Besides military use, the platforms can serve civilian transport needs across Europe, pending EU certification.
