The USAID project “Economic Support for Ukraine” has acquired 25 grain wagons for the agricultural product exporter AR Borispol LLC (part of the Agro Region Group), this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

USAID acquired 25 grain hopper railcars

This assistance allowed the company to attract its own funds and invest in an additional 15 wagons, so it currently owns 40 grain wagons.

Recently, the USAID project delivered two powerful generators to the company’s facilities, which, together with the purchased Agro Region generators, will help maintain the autonomous operation of the elevator even during blackouts.

As of April 2024, when AR Borispol received 25 wagons from the USAID project and began transporting grain with them, logistics costs decreased by 25% from market price.

As previously reported, the USAID project also purchased 25 grain wagons for the company “Almeida Group.”
