Opening of a Joint Railway Border Crossing Will Accelerate Movement Between Serbia and Montenegro

This is already the fourth construction contract signed in Estonia in 2024, and with its implementation, the total length of sections under construction will reach almost 30 kilometers.

The total cost of these projects is 172 million euros.

The new railway section will include not only the tracks but also related infrastructure, including overpasses, ecoducts, access and service roads, as well as noise barriers.

This will significantly improve the region’s transport infrastructure and provide more comfortable conditions for local residents.

In addition, in 2024, tenders were announced for the construction of another 45 kilometers of the mainline, which means that by the end of the year, construction will be underway on more than 70 kilometers of lines.

This accounts for one-third of the total length of the high-speed mainline in Estonia.

The implementation of these projects will significantly improve transport connectivity in the region and provide new opportunities for economic development.
