Iran’s Wagon Pars (part of the Mapna Group) has signed contracts to deliver 280 six-axle freight and passenger cars for four local companies, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The agreements were signed at a railway transport exhibition in Tehran.

Indian Railways (IR) has begun testing a new push-pull train

The delivery includes 100 tank cars, 100 grain hoppers, 50 hopper-dozers, and 30 passenger cars.

Furthermore, at the exhibition, Mapna Group’s subsidiary, MLC, received an order to supply 10 MAP30 electric locomotives with a power of 2.9 MW each for the Iranian freight carrier Sepahran Rail Rasa.
