Also, as part of the investigation, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of officials of the Kyiv Metropolitan Municipal Enterprise and contracted organizations that constructed the interstation tunnels between “Demeevska” and “Lybidska” stations.

It was previously announced that train movement between “Demeevska” and “Teremky” metro stations in Kyiv will be suspended for six months.

Metro stations “Demeevska,” “Holosiivska,” “Vasylkivska,” “Exhibition Center,” “Hippodrome,” and “Teremky” will continue to operate 24/7 in a shelter mode.

To transport passengers, duplicate routes of surface transport are provided from Teremky to Lybidska.

“Restrictions on the Teremky-Demeevska section are introduced due to the urgent need for repairs to the interstation tunnel between the stations. Train movement on this stretch will have to be completely halted until the work is completed,” reported by Kyiv City State Administration.
