Plasser & Theurer has delivered track maintenance machines of the 09-2X model to Turkey, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The quantity of the shipment is undisclosed.

The equipment will service the construction of the high-speed railway line from Ankara to Izmir, spanning 625 km.

The railway line is expected to be operational by 2027.
