The Polish rolling stock manufacturer Pesa closed 2024 with revenue totaling $670 million, reflecting a 33% increase compared to 2023.

Although the total value of new contracts decreased to $1.05 billion, major agreements helped sustain strong earnings.

By the end of the year, the order portfolio reached $3.57 billion, up from $1.28 billion in March 2023. This growth followed the company’s successful bids in international tenders.

Pesa’s Contract with Romania Strengthened Its Export Position

A key success was the agreement to supply 62 electric trains to Romania’s Railway Reform Authority, securing reliable export revenue for the company.

Additionally, Pesa signed contracts for 32 trains for regional operators in Poland, with an option for 25 more units.

Pesa Secures Tram Deals with Polish Cities

The company continued developing its urban transport segment, signing multiple agreements to deliver low-floor Swing trams to various Polish transit authorities.

Demand for these trams remains high as cities work to modernize their public transportation systems.

Despite a slight drop in new orders, Pesa strengthened its presence in both domestic and international markets.

The company continues to expand its contract portfolio and maintain steady growth, reinforcing its leadership in Central European rail manufacturing.
