Pesa had first announced the new platform at the InnoTrans 2024 exhibition, drawing significant attention. The Swing and Twist tram models will feature autonomous driving capabilities, enabling operation without external power for up to 3 km.

The new platform will incorporate silicon carbide inverters to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs. In addition, the trams will include advanced collision prevention systems with cameras and radars capable of detecting objects up to 80 meters away. For this purpose, the company will equip tram wheels with shock absorbers, which will significantly reduce vibrations and noise.
