Pesa and Lower Silesia: Diesel Train Purchase

Lower Silesia ordered 10 trains of the 231M model at a price of €6.85 million per unit. Delivery of these units is scheduled to begin in 2027. The contract also provides an option for expanding the order by 20 more trains if needed. This will allow the region to significantly increase its rolling stock.

Pesa Biofuel Diesel Trains: An Eco-Friendly Solution

The delivered trains will run on biofuel, making them environmentally friendly. This decision will help reduce carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency. Poland is actively moving towards eco-friendly transportation, and the new Pesa diesel trains will play a key role in this strategy.

As a result of the signed contracts, Mazowieckie and Lower Silesia will receive modern trains powered by biofuel. These trains will not only improve the transportation infrastructure but also support the development of new, environmentally friendly technologies in rail transport.
