PESA Railbus Begins Operation Between Kolomyia and Lviv

The PESA railbus completed its first journey between Kolomyia and Lviv on May 6, transporting around 200 passengers in both directions. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
This route is served by train No. 815/816, which runs during the day four times a week: on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, the train follows a shorter route: Kolomyia – Lviv – Kolomyia, tailored to weekday travel demand.
The Route Covered by the PESA Railbus
In test mode, the train stops at Halych station. Starting May 8, the route will extend to Lutsk, further expanding regional access.
Toward Lutsk, the PESA railbus departs Kolomyia at 06:55 and arrives at 14:20. The return trip leaves Lutsk at 15:17 and arrives back in Kolomyia at 22:35.
