Additionally, Pesa claims to have submitted the best offer in another tender for 62 suburban trains, but the results have not been announced yet.

The total order for 91 trains, including maintenance, is estimated at €860 million. In these competitions, Pesa is competing with Siemens and Alstom. In 2022, Alstom won a significant order for electric trains in Romania through legal action against CRRC.

The planned delivery includes three-car alternating current electric trains capable of reaching speeds of 160 km/h with 192 seating places. Pesa plans to manufacture them based on a model that was exported to another country, the Czech Republic, as part of a 2022 contract with the carrier RegioJet (shown in the render).

Another export direction for Pesa is Ghana, where finalizing a contract for 2 diesel trains is in progress, with the potential for an additional order of 8 units.
