This significant step aims to enhance passenger comfort and reduce travel time on the busiest routes connecting the Warsaw agglomeration with other regions of the Masovian Voivodeship.

The electric trains will operate on lines connecting Radom with various cities, including Jędrzejów, Dęblin, Skarżysko-Kamienna, Warka, and Warsaw, influencing the future Dobieszyn – Kozienice section planned under the Kolej Plus program.

This initiative supports the growing passenger traffic of Koleje Mazowieckie, which attracted over 59 million passengers in 2022, an increase of 12 million compared to the previous year.

Notably, Radom will see the establishment of a new maintenance and technical base for Koleje Mazowieckie in the coming years, ensuring proper service for the ordered electric trains and emphasizing the commitment to high-quality standards in regional transportation.
