Patriot Rail acquires Hydra

The American railroad transportation company, Patriot Rail Company, has announced the acquisition of Hydra Distribution & Rail Services and Hydra Transport to expand its operations.

The first CT tram from CRRC has been put into operation in the Portuguese city of Porto

The acquisition is the result of a 10-year partnership between the two logistics companies at Patriot’s Sacramento Valley Railroad in McClellan Park, California.

With the integration of Hydra’s services, Patriot Rail will now offer a premium set of freight transportation services to clients nationwide.

The fully integrated business, Patriot Rail Hydra Logistics & Warehousing, will operate as an independent division.

According to Patriot Rail, the division’s headquarters will be in Sacramento, with Dave Chambers leading it.

Currently, Patriot Rail serves 31 railroads in the U.S. and operates in 24 states, including Washington, Georgia, and Indiana.
