The Pacific Surfliner sticker map is running across California’s 351-mile coastal corridor through March 2027, inviting riders to collect 29 station designs and qualify for tiered prizes.

The LOSSAN Rail Corridor Agency, which manages the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner service, announced the program on April 16, 2026⁠, and began distributing complimentary maps on April 17. The year-long experience forms part of the “Your Ticket to Endless Escapes” campaign between San Diego and San Luis Obispo.

Maps are available in Café Cars, at select staffed stations and during community events. According to the official sticker-map page⁠, three limited-edition station stickers are released each month at various locations, with a limit of one sticker per customer per visit.

How the 29-station challenge works?

Participants add stickers to the physical map and mail qualifying entries to LOSSAN. The public prize summary sets Bronze at 10 stickers, Silver at 20 and Gold at all 29. Up to 50 Bronze, 25 Silver and 10 Gold winners can receive merchandise packages, while Gold submissions also enter a drawing for a $250 Amtrak gift card.

The campaign page contains one important inconsistency: its prize summary lists 20 stickers for Silver, but the embedded official rules list 25. Riders aiming for that tier should verify the current requirement before submitting a map.

Eligibility and deadline

No purchase is required. The sweepstakes is open to legal United States residents aged 18 or older, plus entrants aged 13–17 with permission from a parent or legal guardian. The rules allow one entry per person, and entrants qualify only for the highest applicable tier, except that Gold entries also enter the grand-prize drawing.

Completed maps must be postmarked by 5:00 p.m. PT on March 31, 2027. The rules say random drawings are planned for around April 15, 2027.

The campaign is a passenger-engagement initiative built around existing service rather than an operating expansion. Pacific Surfliner links 29 stations across six Southern California counties and is described by LOSSAN as the United States’ second-busiest state-supported intercity passenger rail route.
