In a company press release, OmniTRAX Inc. and its affiliated railroad, Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway LLC (BRG), said they worked with the Port of Brownsville to identify the donation recipients.

At the Brownsville port, BRG operates 45 miles of track and has provided switching services since 1984, as noted by Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway (BRG). Its switching work covers steel, agricultural products, fuel, and other commodities moving through the port.

OmniTRAX Good Neighbor Program supports meals and essential services

The company said the donations were made through the OmniTRAX Good Neighbor Program, a network-wide outreach initiative that annually provides funding for meals and essential services in communities where OmniTRAX operates, as outlined by OmniTRAX Good Neighbor Program.
