The double-deck trains offer amenities for passengers with reduced mobility, Wi-Fi access, an entertainment portal, and storage for up to 12 bicycles. Onboard safety is reinforced by an expanded train crew.

Omneo Premium units were built at Alstom’s Crespin facility. Each train measures 110 meters in length and accommodates up to 400 passengers, or 730 in double configuration.

Although the trains can reach 200 km/h, their speed is limited to 160 km/h on this route. They run entirely on electricity sourced from renewable energy.

Omneo Premium Replaces Outdated Corail Trainsets

Omneo Premium trains fully replace aging locomotive-hauled Corail cars, which had been in service for over 45 years. This new fleet significantly improves comfort and environmental sustainability in regional transport.

As a result, Transdev now delivers a more modern and eco-conscious travel experience aligned with today’s mobility standards.

Omneo Premium Supported by New Maintenance Facility

A new 2,000 m² maintenance depot was built in Nice to support the fleet. Thanks to advanced equipment, the operator aims to maintain a technical readiness rate of no less than 97.5%.

This infrastructure will reduce downtime and ensure reliable service, even during peak demand periods.
