Old York Rails & Vines introduces an exciting blend of wine tasting and rail adventure during select weekends this August, offering guests a unique way to explore Hunterdon County’s scenic landscapes and culinary delights. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The journey starts at Black River & Western Railroad Station in Ringoes, where a wine ambassador greets travelers. Guests board a historic train to Flemington, savor a handcrafted mocktail, and enjoy bites created by Chef José Diaz while learning local history.

After the round trip, participants head to Old York Cellars for a guided Wine & Charcuterie Pairing Experience featuring award-winning wines. A gourmet lunch prepared by Chef José follows, with time to stroll vineyards, relax with wine, and listen to live music.
