“A continuous structure of freight wagons stretches along the branch from the railway station in Olenivka to Volnovakha and consists of about 2,100 wagons of various types. Construction of this wagon centipede began in July 2023. Obviously, rolling stock stolen from temporarily occupied territories was used for construction,” the message says.
It is added that this is a very specific engineering structure, the effectiveness of which is difficult to assess.
“The idea is clear – an obstacle to the advancement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It can be considered as a separate line of defense since damaging, shifting, or exploding a 30-kilometer mass of metal is extremely difficult, and movement of equipment because of such an obstruction is impossible without punching a corridor,” the message notes.
