Odessa continues to modernize its public transportation system by introducing the latest low-floor trams from the Ukrainian company “Tatra-Yug”, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The second car of the K1T306 model, with the serial number 7014, has arrived in the city.
The first one was delivered at the end of last year and officially presented at the end of 2023.

The delivery of these modern trams is part of the “Urban Public Transport of Ukraine” project, supported by the European Investment Bank.
Each tram can accommodate up to 300 passengers, with 71 seats available.
Their articulated bogies with two-step suspension provide maneuverability and allow the trams to be used on uneven track sections.
Although «Tatra-Yug» had planned monthly deliveries of new trams, a pause in deliveries occurred due to bureaucratic issues with project funding.
However, the manufacturer expects a resolution to this situation by the end of May and will resume implementing the delivery schedule.
