Occupants brought weapons to Ukraine through Kupyansk station
29.04.2022
The divisions of the occupation forces of Russia replenished the stocks of material and technical means from the territory of the Russian Federation through the Kupyansk-Sortirovochny station.
According to the railway magazine Railway Supply, this is evidenced by one of the recent reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“An unloading of an echelon with weapons and military equipment and the movement of artillery units was recorded at the Kupyansk-Sortirovochny railway station,” the report says.
This may be equipment transferred from the territory of Belarus. According to local sources, the main loading of the aggressor’s weapons took place through the stations of Osipovichi, Kolodishchi, Khoiniki, Richitsa, Kalinkovichi and Kozenki (Mozyr).
In addition, the loading of defective Russian military equipment onto platforms near the Yelsk railway station was recently noticed.
According to the Telegram channel of the community of railway workers, as of April 20 (when the occupiers were revived at the Kupyansk station), about 85% of the military equipment of the Russian Federation, recorded at the time of the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, was withdrawn from the territory of Belarus.
The first echelons of enemy units withdrawn from the Kyiv direction were seen back in early April.
The majority of military transportation is carried out by the Russian state-owned Russian Railways JSC, as well as by the Belarusian Railways.
That is why, tougher sanctions are needed against these carriers, up to the complete cessation of cooperation on the part of the railways of all civilized countries of the world. Just as Russian merchant ships and trucks were banned from entering EU countries.
