The Koralmbahn line includes 130 km of new rail infrastructure, 50 km of tunnels, and over 100 bridges. The 33-kilometer Koralm Tunnel serves as the project’s centerpiece.

In total, 23 modern stations and stops were constructed, with Weststeiermark marking the final milestone.

Before regular service begins on December 14, 2025, ÖBB will carry out a comprehensive test program with 15,000 km of trial runs.
