NRC evacuation of derailed train: heavy-duty recovery work
Heavy-duty equipment has been deployed to lift and remove the affected wagons and reopen the route. Officials said the work is being handled cautiously to prevent further damage to the rail infrastructure and to ensure public safety.

No casualties were reported. The NRC added that investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the derailment and help prevent a recurrence. TVC had earlier reported the derailment at the Ibadan–Abeokuta railway crossing in Omi Adio, noting significant disruption in the area.
