Cybersecurity for railway operations

The project includes a 40.6 thousand square meter reloading and warehouse area with a new track system adaptable to both 1435mm and 1520mm track widths.

Modern telecommunication, electrical, water, and sewage infrastructures, along with monitoring systems, enhance the safety of stored goods.

The terminal is equipped with contemporary container handling devices and bulk cargo loaders, enabling efficient processing of intermodal shipments, accommodating longer trains and optimizing cargo reloading.

With an investment cost exceeding 61 million zlotys, including 16 million zlotys from the European Regional Development Fund, this project demonstrates efforts to develop Poland’s railway infrastructure, emphasizing elevated freight transport standards and integration with European transport corridors.

The opening of the Wola Baranowska terminal marks a crucial step in advancing modern logistic services in the Podkarpackie region, improving its connectivity with the country and Europe’s primary trade routes, fostering further economic growth.
