The new tourist railway line Tren Maya in Mexico

The new tourist line, Tren Maya, has been launched in Mexico, spanning 473 km between the states of Quintana Roo and Campeche, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Four Xiinbal trains, each with 230 seats, now operate on this route, using low-sulfur diesel produced at the Deer Park plant in the United States.
India is investing a ambitious $12 billion in upgrading its railway rolling stock
Alstom, the winner of the 2021 competition, will supply 42 diesel trains, including Xiinbal and Janal with restaurants, and P’atal with sleeping accommodations.
Deliveries are expected by the end of 2024, and the full 1,500 km line is set to open at the end of February 2023, with a maximum speed reaching 120 km/h after the completion of the CBTC systems.
