Manchester Airport Station Enhances Train Sim Detail

Manchester Piccadilly, the hub of the route, has been recreated with high accuracy. The platforms, concourse, and iconic glass canopy provide a lifelike simulation experience.

Players can explore taxi areas and Metrolink zones outside the station. Route hopping is also available, adding flexibility and realism to the gameplay.

Manchester Airport station stands out with authentic features, including the Airport Skywalk, detailed platform layouts, and signage. The airport runway and Airbus aircraft add immersive visuals in photo mode.

Included rolling stock features the Northern Class 323 EMU, now with a new Conductor Mode. A Class 66 diesel hauling FKA wagons supports freight gameplay within the route.

Timetables include weekday services with freight and Sunday schedules for casual play. Players can also perform train washing, shunting, and coupling tasks at four featured depots.

Manchester International, Ardwick, Longsight, and Stockport sidings all support advanced operations. These locations enable various simulation scenarios across passenger and cargo services.

Additional trains from other DLCs integrate smoothly. These include Class 350s, Class 390 Pendolinos, and East Midlands Class 158s running long-distance services.

Players can also use heritage and support vehicles like the Class 87, railhead treatment trains, and DMUs from the Cardiff and ScotRail add-ons.

The Manchester Airport route combines passenger detail, aviation visuals, and operational variety. This add-on boosts Train Sim World 5 with expanded realism and engaging content.
