The site features two modern gantry cranes and other cargo handling equipment capable of processing up to 50 TEU per hour, ensuring efficient and stable operations.

The infrastructure meets international standards, with a fire hydrant system, lighting, water supply, and sewerage. The terminal is directly connected to the rail network.

Its rail connection allows simultaneous handling of up to 120 railcars, increasing throughput and reducing wait times.

The Terminal Will Integrate Multiple Modes of Transport

Clients can transfer cargo delivered by truck or rail into containers for onward sea transport, boosting the flexibility and speed of supply chains.

The terminal’s annual handling capacity will reach up to 200,000 TEU, strengthening PTC Holding’s presence in the Eurasian freight market.

The Terminal Creates Jobs and Attracts Investment

Fifty employees currently work at the terminal, and the company plans to expand the team to 120 by the end of 2025, prioritizing local hires.

The $31.5 million project is funded through the Georgian subsidiary of Halyk Bank, a branch of Kazakhstan’s National Bank.

Construction began in August 2023 and was completed on schedule, demonstrating the project’s effective planning and execution.
