In late November, ten new passenger cars by KRCBW successfully completed tests on the Kremenchuk — Poltava route. These cars are now fully prepared to operate on railway lines across the country. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Each new passenger car undergoes mandatory tests to ensure safety and compliance with technical standards. These ten cars are part of a state order for 66 units, supporting infrastructure upgrades.

Following the tests, the Ukrainian Railways Commission inspects the cars to confirm compliance with standards. This step is crucial for integrating these cars into the updated railway infrastructure.

In 2023, Ukrainian Railways signed an agreement with KRCBW to supply 66 new passenger cars. The contract’s total value is ₴2.93 billion, funded by the state budget.

KRCBW Technologies Ensure Safety and Comfort

Modern technologies used by KRCBW enhance passenger comfort and safety during railway journeys. The new cars feature air conditioning, soundproofing, and comfortable seating for travelers.

Initially, the cars were expected to operate by fall, but deliveries began in the fourth quarter. This ensures timely implementation of the railway modernization program across Ukraine.

KRCBW continues to innovate, boosting the competitiveness of its products and contributing to infrastructure development. Ukrainian Railways invests in renewing its rolling stock to improve passenger service quality.

This project creates jobs and stimulates the growth of Ukraine’s industrial sector. It also represents a significant contribution to the country’s economic progress.

Thus, the delivery of KRCBW cars supports infrastructure upgrades and improves passenger transport quality. State programs continue to focus on strategic sectors of national importance.

Future plans include similar projects aimed at fully updating outdated rolling stock. This will form the basis for enhancing service quality on Ukraine’s railway network.
