New Passenger Cars by KRCBW Successfully Passed Tests and Are Ready for Service

In late November, ten new passenger cars by KRCBW successfully completed tests on the Kremenchuk — Poltava route. These cars are now fully prepared to operate on railway lines across the country. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Each new passenger car undergoes mandatory tests to ensure safety and compliance with technical standards. These ten cars are part of a state order for 66 units, supporting infrastructure upgrades.

Following the tests, the Ukrainian Railways Commission inspects the cars to confirm compliance with standards. This step is crucial for integrating these cars into the updated railway infrastructure.

In 2023, Ukrainian Railways signed an agreement with KRCBW to supply 66 new passenger cars. The contract’s total value is ₴2.93 billion, funded by the state budget.
