In western Kazakhstan, a $9 million locomotive parts production facility will be launched, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
In the Atyrau region of Kazakhstan, a welding workshop will be constructed by the end of this year to produce locomotive support beams.
The project’s cost is 4 billion tenge ($9 million), and production is set to commence by the end of 2024.
