In the southeast of Kazakhstan, four logistics facilities are being completed for $9.7 million, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

In 2024, the Zhetysu region of Kazakhstan plans to complete and put into operation a multifunctional transshipment terminal, expected to handle up to 190,000 TEUs per year and employ up to 140 people.

The project costs 3.4 billion tenge ($7.5 million).

Additionally, a logistics terminal is being created in the region, employing up to 50 people, with a project cost of 200 million tenge ($0.45 million).

Moreover, two warehouse complexes are being built in the region, costing 507 million tenge ($1.12 million) and 284 million tenge ($0.63 million) respectively.
