New Mechanical Processing Lines for Railway Wheels Installed at BONATRANS GROUP a.s.

BONATRANS GROUP a.s. has released additional information about the new railway wheel processing lines LK1 and LK4, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
- Current capacity (both lines): 220,000 units/year,
- Operations: mechanical processing, marking,
- Automated control: imbalance check, non-destructive testing, dimension control,
- All transportation is handled by manipulators and automated loaders,
- The lines are implemented according to Industry 4.0 principles.

These lines produce railway wheels for all types of rolling stock:
- High-speed: ICE3, TGV, AGV, KTX, CRH, Talgo
- Locomotives: Vectron, Traxx, Taurus, Dragon, Griffin, HXD, SALi
- Wheels for electric trains, HMU, BEMU, passenger cars, freight cars, metro, trams, and others.
The railway wheels produced by BONATRANS GROUP a.s. are intended not only for the domestic market but also for export to 80 countries on five continents, including the supply of unfinished rolled wheels to subsidiary companies.
