Kazakhstani railway workers intend to carry out repairs on over 1400 kilometers of mainline railway tracks in 2024, according to Kazakhstan Railways, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

More than 1400 kilometers of railway tracks are planned to be repaired

This is the same volume of work as in 2023, which is twice as much as in 2022.

Additionally, more than 570 kilometers of railways will undergo comprehensive renovations, including the complete replacement of rail and ties, in all regions of the country.

Railway workers in the south and west of Kazakhstan were the first to start major repairs.
