Modernization of locomotives of the M62 series

LLC MLRP has implemented a project for the modernization of locomotives of the M62 series

The project, developed by specialists of the engineering and design bureau, includes the following components:

1. Diesel engines from CUMMINS/CATERPILLAR, USA.
2. Alternating current traction generator ELECTROTYAZHMASH, Ukraine.
3. Direct current traction motors, Ukraine.
4. Microprocessor control system, Ukraine.
5. Auxiliary equipment with alternating current electric drive, Ukraine.
6. Rotary-vane compressor AKL-6, MLRP-MATTEI, Ukraine-Italy.
7. Cooling system, Ukraine.
8. Fuel and locomotive location control system Delta, Dneprotehtrans, Ukraine.
9. Electronic speedometer Vector, Quant-Radioelectronics, Ukraine.
10. Cabin climate control system, Ukraine.
11. Video surveillance system, Ukraine.
12. Refrigerator, microwave, 220V.

The duration of the modernization works for locomotives of the M62 series is 220 calendar days. The warranty for the modernized equipment is 18 months from the date of signing the certificate of completed work.
