The train’s accommodations feature a social lounge and private rooms for overnight stays. Options range from standard-class rooms, with first-class airline amenities, to a family room accommodating six passengers. The Revival of Overnight Rail Travel in California

To bring the service to life, Dreamstar is working to secure agreements with Union Pacific Railroad, Metrolink, and Caltrain, which control parts of the 470-mile route. In March 2024, the company reached a significant milestone by signing a memorandum with Union Pacific to formalize negotiations.

If successful, this project will mark the first overnight train service on this route since the 1980s, when the Spirit of California ceased operations. Dreamstar aims to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly and convenient alternatives to air and road travel.
