LTG Cargo Expands Rail Freight Services Across Europe

LTG Cargo successfully transported 600 tons of railway rails from Austria to Lithuania via European gauge. The delivery demonstrated the company’s capability to provide efficient and sustainable logistics solutions. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The demand for rails in Lithuania is increasing due to the Rail Baltica project and ongoing track repairs. LTG Cargo focuses on offering reliable, eco-friendly transport solutions while expanding its European route network.

Eco-Friendly Transport Innovations by LTG Cargo

The cargo originated in Leoben-Donawitz, Austria, and passed through the Czech Republic with Rail Cargo Group’s assistance. The longest section of the journey, across Poland, was managed by LTG Cargo Polska, a subsidiary of LTG Cargo.

The shipment consisted of 25 wagons carrying 642 tons of rails, sufficient for 10 kilometers of railway. After arriving in Šeštokai, LTG Cargo transported the rails to the LTG Infra plant in the Šiauliai District.
