The total cost of the first phase of the light rail construction in the San Fernando Valley is estimated at $3.6 billion.
The proposed line will stretch 10.8 km and include 11 stations. A fleet of 33 high-floor trams is planned to serve passengers, significantly improving transport accessibility and the environmental situation in the region.
Construction is expected to take several years, with the first rides scheduled for 2031.
The project’s implementation aims to create a more efficient and convenient transportation network for residents and visitors, easing road traffic and improving the city’s environment.
