While the APM is still under construction, free shuttles run every 10 minutes between the station and the terminals. This solution reduces travel time and simplifies navigation.
The project is part of the Twenty-Eight by ’28 initiative aimed at upgrading infrastructure for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Los Angeles is actively preparing for major international events.
The city is set to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl LXI in 2027, and the Summer Olympics in 2028. The new hub will be a key part of the city’s transportation system during these events.

The station features video surveillance, energy-efficient lighting, and a clear navigation system, even for first-time visitors. Cyclists can use the dedicated bike parking, and a customer information center is also available.
Above the escalators hangs a sculpture by local conceptual artist Glenn Kaino, adding cultural depth to the infrastructure. The architectural design was developed by Grimshaw Architects.
With this project, Los Angeles showcases a strategic approach to urban mobility and enhances travel quality for both residents and visitors. The new hub has become a symbol of the city’s transportation transformation.
