LNER Delivers Oasis-Themed Train Journey to Wembley Fans

LNER created a unique Oasis-themed train experience from Edinburgh to London, bringing fans together for a music-filled journey to the band’s highly anticipated concert at Wembley Stadium. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The special service, named “She’s Electric,” departed from Edinburgh Waverley at 09:00, featuring custom Oasis graphics on unit 801205. It made stops at key stations like Newcastle, York, and Peterborough.

To energize the trip, musician Keiran La Fox performed iconic Oasis hits onboard, engaging passengers throughout the route. Upon arrival at London King’s Cross, tribute band Oasiz welcomed fans with a live set, extending the celebration beyond the ride.

Passengers received limited-edition Oasis-themed bucket hats and T-shirts, and some won additional prizes during the journey. LNER reported that the train moved “faster than a cannonball,” referencing the hit “Champagne Supernova.”
This initiative aligns with a broader travel plan supporting the Oasis reunion tour. Transport for Wales and regional tram networks also boosted capacity for shows in Cardiff and Manchester’s Heaton Park.
LNER’s Communications Director, Stuart Thomas, said the company aimed to celebrate the Gallagher brothers’ return while delivering a memorable fan experience. “Our ‘She’s Electric’ service made sure fans arrived like Rock ‘n’ Roll Stars—with unique gear and nonstop fun,” he said.
