Darmanin reported that several individuals who may be involved in these acts of sabotage have already been identified.

Earlier, there was information that an anonymous radical group claimed responsibility for the incident.

On the night of July 26, the day the Olympics began, there was a major disruption to railway operations: SNCF reported deliberate damage at three locations on the network.

The French government has now confirmed that trains on the high-speed network are once again operating normally. Repair work has been completed, and services have been fully restored.
