The railways of Kazakhstan will continue to collaborate with DB Engineering & Consulting, this is reported by the railway transport news portal, Railway Supply.
This three-year framework agreement, signed during President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to Germany, strengthens Kazakhstan’s ties with the European Union.
DB E&C has already provided successful assistance to KTZ in transforming its passenger division. Currently, the focus is on expanding freight transport and integrating the New Eurasian Land Bridge corridor into the European transportation network.
Kazakhstan possesses significant potential for improving its logistics services, and this partnership with DB E&C will help the country modernize its transportation and logistics sector, undoubtedly contributing to Kazakhstan’s economic development.
