Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works has obtained certificates for manufacturing freight cars for the 1435 mm gauge

PJSC “Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works“ became the first factory in Ukraine which got the right to manufacture freight cars for 1435 mm gauge, being fulfilling of corresponding technical specifications of interoperability TSI, applicable in the EU, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
In conformity with European standards, specialists of the factory have designed intermodal car Sggrss 80 for containers forwarding and built two prototypes which successfully were tested in EU on normal gauge routes.
Upon results the corresponding certificates were issued and registered at European Railway Agency (ERA), which conform fulfillment of all applicable requirements.
The new products allows «KRCBW» to expand sales markets and meet the needs of both EU companies and Ukrainian Railways and other Ukrainian operators operating on the 1435 mm gauge.
The wagons were verified for operation on entire railway network of EU.
