The Russian Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don has sentenced a 36-year-old resident of Simferopol to 10 years in prison on charges of preparing sabotage on railway tracks in the Dzhankoy district, according to the railway journal Railway Supply, citing Rail.insider.

He was arrested in April 2022, and during the search, two homemade explosive devices and “extremist literature” were found.

Information about the name and comments of the accused are not disclosed by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).

Earlier, it was reported that the crash of an unmanned aerial vehicle on the railway tracks in Crimea led to the suspension of train traffic.
