KRCBW Successfully Tested New Passenger Railcars

KRCBW has completed testing of three new passenger railcars designed for Ukrzaliznytsia. Experts checked the functionality of all systems, and the tests were successfully conducted without any failures or remarks. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
KRCBW Railcar Tests on the Kremenchuk–Poltava–Kremenchuk Route
Three compartment railcars of the SV type, manufactured under a government order, embarked on a trial journey. The route included Kremenchuk–Poltava–Kremenchuk, with tests conducted according to an approved plan.

The trials covered the operation of running gear, shock-absorbing and traction equipment, and electropneumatic brakes. Additionally, experts inspected the functionality of entrance doors, water supply systems, and sanitary-technical equipment.
Specialists examined the performance of the combined boiler, electrical systems, and fire alarm system. Air conditioning systems were also tested in heating, ventilation, and cooling modes.
Results of KRCBW New Railcar Tests
Experts paid special attention to the braking system and the dynamic characteristics of the railcars. The train was accelerated to 80 km/h, followed by stops for data analysis.
The tests confirmed the full operability of the railcars, ensuring they meet established standards and safety requirements. No failures affecting operational performance were recorded.
Earlier, it was reported that nine new railcars manufactured by KRCBW had begun service from Kharkiv. These railcars are already in operation, providing passengers with a comfortable travel experience.
