These trains will serve routes between Paris, Lille, Strasbourg, and Lyon starting in 2028.

Unlike SNCF trains, the new trains will be single-deck and equipped with distributed traction, making them more efficient on routes with frequent stops.

The seven-car trains will accommodate up to 760 passengers and will feature two doors on each side, minimizing station dwell times.

This design resembles Japanese Shinkansen and Hitachi 395 Javelin high-speed trains, promising comfort and efficiency for passengers.

The purchase of new rolling stock is part of the company’s ambitious development plans.

The order is expected to be placed this summer after the financing process is completed.

The company has already agreed to operate routes jointly with SNCF for a ten-year period.

In addition to train purchases, Kevin Speed plans to build three depots and create jobs for 450 employees.

This ambitious project will not only improve the quality of public transportation in France but also lead to the creation of new jobs and the development of the industry.

Moreover, the involvement of Japanese and Spanish financing underscores international interest in infrastructure development projects in Europe.
