“Kaztemirtrans” plans to purchase nearly 3 thousand freight cars

In January 2024, Kaztemirtrans (a subsidiary of Kazakhstan Railways) acquired 33 flatcars, in 2023 – 242 flatcars, and in 2021 – 1 thousand freight cars, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
In total, over the past ten years, the company has purchased more than 25 thousand cars.
The amount spent on these goals and the identity of the sellers are not disclosed by the carrier.
By 2025, Kaztemirtrans intends to purchase another approximately 3 thousand freight cars, which are planned to be used for transporting grain, coal, building materials, and other goods.
