«Kazakhstan Railways» intends to repair 11 thousand kilometers of tracks by 2029

In 2023, 1443 kilometers of railways were repaired in Kazakhstan, twice as much as the previous year, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
During this period, “Kazakhstan Railways” updated approximately 550 kilometers of railway tracks with the replacement of rail and sleepers.
Additionally, 634 sets of switch turnouts were replaced.
The plan for 2024 includes the repair of 1400 kilometers of railway sections, aiming for a total of 11 thousand kilometers by 2029.
