Russian wood processing enterprises have faced difficulties in delivering wood-based products (particle board, fiberboard, and plywood) to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.

Kazakhstan has banned the transit of wood-based products from Russia

“Kazakhstan Railways” has halted its transit through Kazakhstan’s territory due to compliance with sanctions against Russia.

Previously, up to 40% of wood-based product exports from Russia were routed through Kazakhstan.
