This became known during the negotiations between the Vice Prime Ministers of the two countries, Serik Zhumangarin and Abdul Gani Baradar.

Kazakhstan plans to supply materials for the upper structure of the railway track, sleepers, and fasteners to Afghanistan.

In particular, they want to direct them to the construction of the railways “Termez – Mazar-i-Sharif – Kabul – Peshawar” and “Herat – Kandahar – Spin-Boldak”.

Representatives of the Kazakh government delegation noted that this will reduce the delivery time of goods between the countries of the region by almost 10 times and reduce the cost of freight transportation.
