Kazakhstan plans to utilize the Beyneu terminal, located in the Mangystau region and with direct access to the Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan border, for organizing deliveries of flour and grain to Afghanistan.

The terminal’s capacities allow for monthly shipments of up to 100 thousand tons of grain, 12 thousand tons of flour, and up to 3 thousand tons of animal feed.

Kazakh authorities have also proposed transporting Chinese goods to Afghanistan through Kazakhstan via the route ‘China – Kazakhstan (to Aktau) – Turkmenistan – Afghanistan (Turgundi/Anhoy).’
