JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” announced a tender for the purchase of brake pads

Ukrzaliznytsia JSC announced two tenders in the Prozorro system for the purchase of 34.2 thousand units of brake pads.  Estimated cost – UAH 15.6 million, informs Railway Supply magazine with reference to GMK Center.

JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” branch “Production Support Center” plans to purchase:

– brake pads type “C” with an insert – (20.966 thousand units) for 9.5 million UAH;
– brake pads type “C” with an insert – (13.245 thousand units) for 6.03 million UAH.

The deadline for submitting the application is until 20.05.2021, the auction is scheduled for 25.06.2021. According to the terms of the tender, the pads have to be shipped by the end of 2021.

Brake pad of “C” type is made of gray cast iron, and its weight is 14.2 kg. It is used on wagons of 1520 (1534) mm gauge railways.
